The Warehouse operation 31 December 2011 in the existing areas of the Post Office vehicle continued. This should have been accomplished thanks to the mediation of Secretary of State Barbara Kisseler, Head of the Senate Chancellery, and André Schmitz, Secretary of State for Culture.
Despite an intensive search, so far no new location for the private cultural institution has been found. The prolonged use in the interim Postfuhramt offers a much-needed respite. Target of C / O Berlin is to find a new home in this high-frequency position and to develop according to the demands of a modern exhibition industry.
C / O Berlin is pleased to present its program for the year 2011 without restrictions. Therefore, the current retrospective of Robert Mapplethorpe and SHOOT! to 1 May be extended. Other highlights include retrospectives of internationally renowned photographers such as Gregory Crewdson and Fritz Eschen, the German Börse Photography Prize 2011, and curated by C / O Berlin exhibition "Images of powerlessness."
